EEC Analytical Database

The database is built using Microsoft Access and SQL Server. It imports lab data into a single database for reporting and querying.

Microsoft Access front-end located at (if you have it installed):

C:\Users\<username>\Apps\EDF Database

SQL Server back-end located at:

EnvData on GIS-DATA\EECSQL12

Installation

Run this file, which will create your own personal copy of the front-end Access database on your C:\ Drive:

Y:\GIS_CAD_DB\EEC_EnvironmentalData\Scripts\Install\Install_or_Update_Current.bat

You will then be able to open it by clicking on the Start button and typing “EEC Analytical Database”

While it creates your own personal copy of the front-end database, the data that you see in it comes from the back-end SQL Server database, which is a central database shared by everyone.
