Email Setup for Phones and Tablets
iPhone and iOS
- Open the device’s Settings
- Select “Mail” or “Mail, Contacts, Calendars” (depends on iOS version)
- Tap “Add Account”
- Select the account type “Exchange“
- Enter your <username>@eecenvironmental.com email address and password
- “Description” is simply how you identify this mailbox in your Mail app; you can just put your email address here
- Click Next
- iPhones should pull server settings automatically through ActiveSync, but if it fails, try entering in the info below:
- Domain: eecworld
- Username: <your Windows username>
- Password: <your Windows password>
- Server: webmail.eecworld.com
- Port: 443
- Prompt will pop up to accept remote administration. This is required to sync your mailbox
- Click “Next”
- Enable/disable items to Sync (defaults are fine)
- Click save
- Allow up to 15 minutes for Mail, contacts and calendars to sync to phone
Android
- Open the device’s Settings
- Select “Accounts”
- Select “Add Account”
- Select “Exchange“; if Exchange is not available, it may be called “Enterprise/Corporate“
- Enter your <username>@eecenvironmental.com email address and password
- Android phones usually fail to pull down the correct server settings; if it fails, try entering in the info below:
- Domain: eecworld
- Username: <your Windows username>
- Domain\username: eecworld\<your Windows username>
- Password: <your Windows password>
- Server: webmail.eecworld.com
- Port: 443
- All other settings can be left as is
- Prompt will pop up to accept remote administration. This is required to sync your mailbox
- Allow up to 15 minutes for Mail, contacts and calendars to sync to phone
