Email Setup for Phones and Tablets

iPhone and iOS
  1. Open the device’s Settings
  2. Select “Mail” or “Mail, Contacts, Calendars” (depends on iOS version)
  3. Tap “Add Account”
  4. Select the account type “Exchange
  5. Enter your <username>@eecenvironmental.com email address and password
  6. “Description” is simply how you identify this mailbox in your Mail app; you can just put your email address here
  7. Click Next
  8. iPhones should pull server settings automatically through ActiveSync, but if it fails, try entering in the info below:
    1. Domain: eecworld
    2. Username: <your Windows username>
    3. Password: <your Windows password>
    4. Server: webmail.eecworld.com
    5. Port: 443
  9. Prompt will pop up to accept remote administration. This is required to sync your mailbox
  10. Click “Next”
  11. Enable/disable items to Sync (defaults are fine)
  12. Click save
  13. Allow up to 15 minutes for Mail, contacts and calendars to sync to phone

 

Android
  1. Open the device’s Settings
  2. Select “Accounts”
  3. Select “Add Account”
  4. Select “Exchange“; if Exchange is not available, it may be called “Enterprise/Corporate
  5. Enter your <username>@eecenvironmental.com email address and password
  6. Android phones usually fail to pull down the correct server settings; if it fails, try entering in the info below:
    1. Domain: eecworld
    2. Username: <your Windows username>
    3. Domain\username: eecworld\<your Windows username>
    4. Password: <your Windows password>
    5. Server: webmail.eecworld.com
    6. Port: 443
  7. All other settings can be left as is
  8. Prompt will pop up to accept remote administration. This is required to sync your mailbox
  9. Allow up to 15 minutes for Mail, contacts and calendars to sync to phone
