GoToMeeting

Start a GoToMeeting Right Now
  1. On the Large Conference Room Computer, log in with the “staff” account
  2. Go to the task tray in the lower right corner of Windows to find the GoToMeeting flower icon, right-click it, and select “Meet Now
    1. If you’re not logged in, user: data@eecworld.com, password: 4eecGotomeet
    2. If you get a message like this, click “Exit”! Someone is already in a meeting! Do not end their session.
  3. When you’re done, Outlook will open so you can invite people from staff@eecenvironmental.com; you may want to just invite yourself and then forward the invitation to others from your own email account
  4. You can also tell people to simply visit www.gotomeeting.com, click on “Join a Meeting” in the upper right corner of the page, and give them the 9-digit meeting code to enter.

 

Schedule a GoToMeeting for Later
  1. On the Large Conference Room Computer, log in with the “staff” account
  2. Go to the task tray in the lower right corner of Windows to find the GoToMeeting flower icon, right-click it, and select “My Meetings”
    1. If you’re not logged in, user: data@eecworld.com, password: 4eecGotomeet
  3. Click “Schedule New Meeting”
  4. If your proposed meeting time conflicts with someone else’s meeting, you will see a notice, but it is easy to overlook. Be careful.
  5. When you’re done, Outlook will open so you can invite people from staff@eecenvironmental.com; you may want to just invite yourself and then forward the invitation to others from your own email account
  6. When it’s time to start the meeting, just go back to “My Meetings” like you did in Step 2 above, select the meeting, and click “Start”
