GoToMeeting

Start a GoToMeeting Right Now
- On the Large Conference Room Computer, log in with the “staff” account
- Go to the task tray in the lower right corner of Windows to find the GoToMeeting flower icon, right-click it, and select “Meet Now”
- If you’re not logged in, user: data@eecworld.com, password: 4eecGotomeet
- If you get a message like this, click “Exit”! Someone is already in a meeting! Do not end their session.
- When you’re done, Outlook will open so you can invite people from staff@eecenvironmental.com; you may want to just invite yourself and then forward the invitation to others from your own email account
- You can also tell people to simply visit www.gotomeeting.com, click on “Join a Meeting” in the upper right corner of the page, and give them the 9-digit meeting code to enter.
Schedule a GoToMeeting for Later
- On the Large Conference Room Computer, log in with the “staff” account
- Go to the task tray in the lower right corner of Windows to find the GoToMeeting flower icon, right-click it, and select “My Meetings”
- If you’re not logged in, user: data@eecworld.com, password: 4eecGotomeet
- Click “Schedule New Meeting”
- If your proposed meeting time conflicts with someone else’s meeting, you will see a notice, but it is easy to overlook. Be careful.
- When you’re done, Outlook will open so you can invite people from staff@eecenvironmental.com; you may want to just invite yourself and then forward the invitation to others from your own email account
- When it’s time to start the meeting, just go back to “My Meetings” like you did in Step 2 above, select the meeting, and click “Start”
