For over 15 years, EEC Environmental (EEC) has provided wet utility design and analysis services for a variety of commercial and industrial property owners and developers. Design and analysis services were performed as key components in property acquisition decisions and property improvement projects.
Utility assessment services have included utility availability analysis, capacity studies, utility infrastructure upgrade needs assessment, as well as will serve and discharge permit coordination support. Design services have ranged from verification of existing utilities to complete utility design and installation, including permit and construction plan development and submittal. Common design services have included public and private sewer, grease waste system design, private and public water connections, gas service design, and electrical service upgrades. In cases where regulatory requirements could be feasibly met, EEC has prepared and been granted variances.
EEC also assisted in the preparation of rough order of magnitude (ROM) for hard and soft costs, ensuring accurate costs are factored into the development team analysis. To supplement these design efforts, EEC has also constructed or provided construction administration services for a few projects.
